A: Lawn For Life eliminates the need for daily lawn watering, allowing you to conserve water. Maintaining your new lush, green lawn is simple. Brush or rake the blade surfaces deeply to loosen debris. Rake leaves etc into piles and remove. Blow area off. Brush & repeat, if needed. You can use weed killers, deodorizers or enzyme cleaners with confidence on your Lawn For Life artificial grass. It won’t damage them.
Q: Will my dog destroy my Lawn For Life Synthetic Turf?

A Lawn For Life lawn is the perfect way to maintain a beautiful lawn even when you have energetic pets!
Q: Will Lawn For Life Artificial Grass fade?
A: Lawn For Life’s waterless grasses have UV stabilizers engineered into the blades. The addition of an infill also protects the blades from UV damage insuring that fading will not be a problem.
Q: Why do Artificial Turf Systems need an infill?
A: Lawn For Life believes that an infill in artificial lawn and grass is essential. Infills increase the life of your artificial lawn by 25% by keeping the grass blades vertical and stopping them from being exposed to UV damage. They also provide weight for the grasses, in turn protecting seams and keeping the grass from wrinkling and creasing. Infills help to give the grasses a realistic, real grass appearance and feel. It helps the grass to bounce back into position like natural grass would.
Q: Which infill does Lawn For Life use on their Artificial Grass Sytems?
A: When installing artificial lawn, the most frequently used infill products are silica sand and crumb rubber. At Lawn For Life we have chosen to use a quartz granule or resin coated sand infill. Unlike silica sand it does not hold moisture, which can lead to germs and bacteria, so it’s an overall cleaner alternative. Our infill is fast drying, anti-microbial and UV resistant. Unlike rubber infills, it does overheat, smell or smolder. Our infill can be between 50-70 degrees cooler then crumb rubber infills and keeps the heat down on your artifiical grass. It has no chemical residue, smell or metal content. Therefore, our healthier, low-maintenance product is a safer alternative for children, pets and anyone who spends time in a yard. Our quartz granule or resin coated sand infill is recyclable.
Q: Does artificial grass heat?
A: All synthetic grasses and artificial turf can heat in full sun, especially in dry climates, however the grass can be cooled by spraying it down with water or putting it in the shade. Infill materials do affect the overall temperature of the surfaces. Of the infill materials available in the market today, black crumbed rubber will always be at the high end of the heat spectrum vs. their lightly colored, quartz granule counterparts. That is why Lawn For Life uses quartz granules/acrylic coated sand infill, which helps lower the heat on your lawn. A light-colored quartz granules/acrylic coated sand infill is 50% cooler than crumb rubber infills and keeps the heat down on the grass, making it more comfortable for humans and pets.
Q: Is it safe for my children and my pets?
A: The products we use are non-toxic. We use products that are safe for both children and pets. Material Safety Data Sheets are available on request.
Q: Is artificial lawn flammable?
A: All of our grasses and infills are non-flammable.
Q: How much water will I save by installing a Lawn For Life Lawn?
A: The average lawn uses between 35,000-70,000 gallons of water per year. Since Lawn For Life is virtually a waterless lawn, you will reduce your water usage by this amount in addition to lowering your water bills by 70%.
Q: How much does a Lawn For Life lawn cost?
A: The cost of a lawn varies from project to project, based on the scope of work and the grasses you wish to install. The best way to determine the cost for your project is to call us for a free estimate. We can meet with you to determine the appropriate grass for your needs.
Q: How does the cost of a synthetic grass installation compare to natural grass?
A: Natural grass requires an irrigation system, top soil, sod, fertilizers, pesticides, water and regular maintenance. If you install synthetic grass, after 3 years you will break even on your investment. From that time on your artificial grass will cost you virtually nothing.
